I will be the first one to admit that " Step Up 3D " showed off some of the best 3D that I've seen to date (read the full review here ). Does that mean that I want to sit through another "Step Up" movie? Absolutely not! Unfortunately, it's not really up to me. It's up to the good people at Summit Entertainment , and they've decided that the world needs more dance movies. According to Deadline , "Step Up 4Ever" will feature the gorgeous backdrop of Miami, the gorgeous bodies of a fresh crop of dancers, and the gorgeous 3D that we saw in the last film. Well, I have to hope that the 3D will be as good. That's really all I have to hope for at this point. Music video guru Scott Speer will get to sit in the director's chair, with Jon Chu ("Step Up 3D") snagging himself an executive producer's credit. Don't pull the calendar out just yet; no release date has been announced. In fact, they haven't even casted the whole thing yet. That said, production is expected to start this summer.
